There are 4 weeks in a month, so if your 16 weeks right now that means you are 4 months.
Over 20 weeks is 5 months.

Well i think that you should lisen to your Doctor, he is the more accurate in how long you have been pregnant also if i wear you i would check my calendar and check when was your baby conceived and count the weeks from their until know.

You will be in between 4 and 5 months…like 4 months 1 week

  6. smiillee

no. you will be 5month nest week. 4×4=16 plus some month has 5 weeks….good luck

the start of 5th you do know you are preg for 10 mo total

17-20 weeks you’re in your 4th month. however, your doc has the best time frame of your pregnancy. he’d know better than anyone would, other than yourself.

Depends if you’re going by the lunar calendar or the real calendar. Real calendar-wise, you’re 4.5 mos at 20 weeks (halfway). Lunar calendar (some people use this…don’t know why, but they do) would put you at 5 mos at 20 weeks.

You are correct. Listen to your doctor. Many people simply go 4X4=16, but this is incorrect becasue there are 4.3 weeks in a month.

There’s a lot of controversy over which week equals which date–I’m at the end of my third pregnancy and I decided a long time ago it was easier to just count back from your due date. For example: I am due Nov. 7th.

    So Oct. 7th = 8 months
    Sept. 7th = 7 months
    Aug. 7th = 6 months

    and so on.

It is much easier to calculate it like that–in terms of months rather than weeks b/c everyone will have a different answer–your friends, your family, your doctor–and they will all be different. But this seems to be the easiest and most sure way to be speaking accurately in terms of months pregnant.

    Hope this helps!!

? Well 17 weeks is 4 months & 1 week pregnant. The 5th month is weeks 20-24 weeks. But some months have more than 4 weeks, and things like this, etc. If your doctor says you will be 5 months next week and you are confused ask him to help you figure out your pregnancy calendar. Hope this helps!

    Congratulations on your pregnancy! :-)

16 weeks is 5 months, so you should still be in your 5th month. But you also have to think about gestational age, because if just go by weeks and that weeks last for 30 days, then you will be pregnant for 10 months. Just go to babygaga…and get a calendar… and keep up with that… plus you will get some good information….

my doctor told me 20wks is 5 months:)

    4 and a half months

17 weeks is 4 months and 1 week. You are at the beginning of your 5th month, yet you have 3 more weeks to complete month 5.

Congradulations!!! I hope you have a good pregnancy.

    i’m 19 weeks…at 20 weeks i’m half way there…at 20 weeks i’ll be 4.5 months pregnant.

if you calculate the months by 4 weeks per month (which is not how it is…we don’t have 13 months a year) you are in your 5th month. if you go from conception to due date (which is 40 weeks) and determine the months that way, you’ll have a better idea. My baby’s due on March 21st, so how i determine it is on the 21st of each month, it’s a new month. i started by going to a calendar, going to my due date, and working your way backwards.

    congrats and good luck!!!
