A Guide To Free Pregnancy Calculator

Friday, July 10th, 2009

Free pregnancy calculator helps pregnant ladies to estimate the rough payment date of their baby, based on their Last Menstrual Period (LMP), length of menstrual cycle and luteal phase length.

Luteal phase is also known as AKA days past ovulation or DOP. It’s the part of the cycle that starts at ovulation, and ends a day before you get your next period. Often, it lasts for about 14 days, and does not change by more than a day for each lady.

How To Use Free Pregnancy Calculator

If you believe you have fallen pregnant, you can find many sites that offer free pregnancy calculator online that help you to decide if you could have missed a period. Some free pregnancy calculator programs may evaluate potential pregnancy symptoms as an element of guess. The program can be easily downloaded, and it helps you plan the important milestones during your pregnancy. You just need to enter the date of your LMP, and a calendar will be made, which will show the date of conception, starting date of 2nd and third trimester, date that most of the babies will survive, date that most babies are probably going to arrive between, number of actual weeks and days you are carrying a child, number of days left for the important day, and some free pregnancy calculators will also tell the star sign your kid will be born under.

It is a great idea to take the print from this result, and customize it by writing your name on it. There’s also pregnancy ovulation calculator that helps you establish the rough date of ovulation that will help you guesstimate the most fruitful days for conception.

It is important to know that these are just general tools, and the dates are based on the best conditions. Each pregnancy is unique and is troubled by assorted factors that may shorten or add to the finish date. If you are attempting to avoid pregnancy, free pregnancy calculators shouldn’t be the only means of birth control. If your periods are not regular, the free pregnancy calculators can give you with incorrect results.

Free pregnancy calculator determines date due date especially based on when you ovulated. All these calculators give extraordinarily general info, which isn’t particular to any specific condition. These calculators provide plenty of useful info, but they’re not as correct as true medical calculation of your potential pregnancy, cutoff and weight gain. These can be employed as 1st steps, but it is vital to keep in mind that each woman and each pregnancy is dissimilar. If you believe you are with child, confirm it using the pregnancy test, and then consult your medical practitioner.

Who wants all teenage pregnancy questions banned from being asked?

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

These teenage girls come here and ask stupid pregnancy questions like.

Question: could i be pregnant?

Question Details: i didnt actually have intercourse and i took a pregnancy test about 2 weeks after in the morning when the hormone levels are high and it came out negative and i got my period on time but theres a weird patch on mi stomach but im trying to gain weight so is that some extra fat? i also spoke with a planned parenthood doc and she said the test would be accurate when i took it so should i just brush this off?

I think that teenage sex questions should be banned or be reported as abuse and removed.

Yeah these sound like imature people. Obviously you are gonna get a load of these on a site like this.

What can expect after methotrexate shot for ectopic pregnancy?

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

I am 35 and I just found out that my first pregnancy is ectopic. Low hcg hovering between 160 and 150 over a weeks time. I was administered the shot on Tuesday afternoon, but now it is Friday I am not really noticing too much yet. I have off and on bleeding (a little bit heavier than the spotting I previously had), but I don’t really notice too much else. Any insight would ease my mind. Thank you…

You should continue to have your HCG levels checked to make sure they are falling. My understanding is that the bleeding is normal with methotrexate, but heavier bleeding is not a sign that it is (or is not) working.
From http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cache:gbuPRw-hTccJ:www.ectopic.org/medical_information/faq.htm+methotrexate+shot+for+ectopic+pregnancy%3F&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us

"What Methotrexate does, is prevent the trophoblast cells from dividing. Trophoblast cells are the invading cells of the pregnancy and those that form the afterbirth or placenta. It is these that rupture the tube, cause the pain and have the potential to cause internal bleeding to the mother. Once these cells no longer divide, the pregnancy is ended and the whole pregnancy sac, including any cells that might have grown into a baby, is usually reabsorbed by the mother. This is normal and happens in many cases of miscarriage. You may feel pain after being given methotrexate but this is due to the pregnancy sac swelling and not due to effects on the baby. The tube, however, may remain blocked by the pregnancy tissue which can take some time to shrink. Occasionally it may not shrink and will leave a blockage in the tube, by way of a small cyst. However, the use of Methotrexate does not reduce the chances of successful future pregnancy, no matter the outcome in the affected tube.

Women sometimes find treatment with Methotrexate quite a long and drawn out process. This can feel frustrating but the outcome is often very successful and worth persevering with the wait involved for the hCG levels to drop, and the repeated blood tests, until that happens.
[...]
The response of women to treatment with methotrexate varies greatly. The bleeding is from the lining of the womb and is hormonally controlled. It will probably last a week or two, changing in colour from red to brown and diminishing. As long as it is not too heavy, and is not associated with pain, you should not worry. Some women report bleeding and spotting for up to six weeks."

Please keep in touch with your doctor if you have any concerns. Ectopic pregnancy isn’t something you mess around with–it can be life-threatening.

What is the best way to prevent pregnancy after having sex?

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

What is the best way to prevent pregnancy after having sex? Today is the 5th day after having sex with my boyfriend. Is there any medicines (asides from pills, because pills will only prevent pregnancy if you take it right after having sex) that will prevent pregnancy???

It’s pretty much too late to do the morning after pill. All you can really do now is hope that you aren’t pregnant. In a few more days, go get a pregnancy test. If you’re pregnant, go see your doctor to discuss your options. If you’re not, thank whatever you believe in and promise yourself to be more careful in future. At least use a barrier method like condoms. What I do to be extra safe is I’m on the pill AND I use condoms. Your future is at risk here. You have to stay smart. Good luck, and I’ll be sending good thoughts your way!

Blessed be.
